Confessions of a Klout junkie

I am sad to confess that I check out http://klout.com at least once per day. My only reason for doing so is to see if I have managed to climb one single step higher on the virtual ladder. I know it is completely ridiculous. I don’t even understand how they measure the score. When I look at people that have many times more followers than I but significantly less Klout score it makes me think that I have other values that are recognized.
